As a Social Work intern, I offer a community-minded, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. I view therapeutic work as a collaborative process, and I am committed to working together to create an inviting, compassionate, and grounded space. I draw from a variety of modalities tailored to your individual needs to support you in setting goals and moving towards meeting them. My work emphasizes the interconnected nature of our identity, personal history, community, and mental health. I offer a nonjudgmental and synergetic approach to working alongside you on your unique path to well-being.
I have a background in brief behavioral interventions and behavioral modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I blend these techniques with multiple approaches including mindfulness, existentialism, and creative expression techniques. I draw from a variety of theories to shape the foundation of my work, including attachment, trauma, and client-centered theories to support a holistic space to foster growth.
