We might be a good fit if you are navigating:

  • Depression
  • Grief/loss
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma and trauma symptoms
  • Emotion identification
  • Life transitions
  • Neurodivergence

Philosophy:

I believe that therapy can be a space to learn more about yourself and to shine light on experiences and parts of the self that have been living in the dark. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative container for you to more fully explore these pieces.

Approach to therapy:

You are so much more than the challenges bringing you to therapy. I believe it is important to explore all parts of the self - not just the loudest and most challenging pieces. Therapy is a unique space to explore your identity and experiences without judgement or expectation. I believe the therapeutic relationship is at the core of what makes therapy helpful, and that you are the expert on you and your life. I am not here to “fix” you or give you the answer; rather, I am here to walk alongside you, to sit in the uncomfortable feelings, find sources of empowerment, celebrate the successes, and challenge patterns and cycles that no longer serve you.

I value transparency, authenticity, and humor; these values guide my therapeutic style. I take a client-led and collaborative approach to therapy, incorporating harm-reduction and trauma informed principles. I support people from a systems perspective, examining all the levels of influence in your life with consideration of identities and culture. I value feedback and will check in with you often so that our work together best supports you. Therapeutic modalities that I utilize most often include acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and narrative therapy.

Populations and Identities I work with:

I work with preteens, teens, and adults navigating challenges related to depression, anxiety, identity, grief/loss, trauma, life transitions, neurodivergence, and existential concerns. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent individuals, and those who hold identities that are often marginalized.
