No one is born with an owner’s manual to happiness. It can be a long road of trial and error we all have to figure out through life. Traumatic experiences can act as roadblocks, affecting our ability to thrive. Sometimes we need help through this process. My job as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional is to work as a guide to help clients gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors. Together, we process these experiences through transparent discussion and bodily movement, to explore different avenues of healing.

My therapeutic approach integrates the different components of who clients are as an individual, as well as addressing any outside influences affecting who they are as a whole. It is important to me to meet my clients "where they are at, and as who they are."t; What I mean by this is that I strongly value being responsive to various cultures, associations, intersectionalities, and intergenerational traditions and traumas, as these can all impact our mental well-being and healing. The therapeutic alliance is, to me, of utmost importance in the therapeutic process and healing. The relationship between client and clinician is held sacred. To me, rapport and alliance is foundational to trauma healing and without a foundational sense of safety and trust that we can build upon, healing cannot occur.

In my practice, I primarily use Somatic Therapy, bodily movement, EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction and some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training.

I am licensed in the state of Oregon as a LCSW and am licensed in the state of Washington as a LICSW. Please note: Washington clients I only see via telehealth.

I identify as a first generation, bi-racial, Asian American. I am a cis-gendered woman who also identifies as a trauma survivor. In my spare time I enjoy being on the water as much as possible, spending time cooking with family, and paddleboarding with my dog.
