Whether you have tried therapy before and it just didn't click or you wanted more, or if this is your first venture into counseling, you will have a deep and profound experience working with her. If you are ready to be supported as you venture into your inner work, Maria is the therapist for you. ​Maria is committed to working with individuals of all configurations, races, religions, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As such, Maria is committed to an ever deepening exploration of her own conditioning, biases, and potential blind spots Maria sees clients in person in her office in Sellwood, on the telephone, or she uses a HIPPA compliant therapy video conferencing platform for secure video sessions. Video session are surprisingly effective and can be done from the comfort of your home. Due to licensing considerations, Maria can only see clients who live in WA and OR for therapy.

Maria works with most mental health and mood disorders with an emphasis on regulating the nervous system. Once the nervous system is in a more regulated state, the therapy can move into deeper realms of insight oriented therapy which allows clients to access a deeper understanding of themselves.

Moving Forward Staying Present can bill any standard commercial insurance for sessions with me as an out of network provider.
