Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a master’s degree in clinical mental
health counseling. She comes to therapeutic work through the lens of an empathetic, transparent
and humanistic perspective. Samantha helps individuals using person-centered, strength-based,
solution-focused approaches with a foundation in Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).
She possesses strong interpersonal skills rooted in dignity, advocacy, and respect. Samantha
inclusively welcomes anyone who seeks counseling for positive change regardless of race,
gender, sexual orientation, or religious views.
Samantha’s goal is to meet clients with compassion and nonjudgement wherever they are at in
their journey. Her desire is to provide a supportive and safe space to walk alongside individuals
in a collaborative manner in order to facilitate healing and personal growth. She believes that the
client is the expert of their life story and Samantha merely is the catalyst for meaningful change.
Together, through gentle inquiry and awareness, Samantha will help empower clients toward
their therapeutic goals to overcome presenting issues and achieve a healthy and vital life.
Samantha uses an integration of somatic, mindfulness and holistic healing techniques to heal
traumatic wounds. She finds exploring dreams, inner child & shadow work can also be helpful to
heal past issues that may be causing present day life issues.
Samantha uses she/her/hers pronouns, is a cis-gender white woman, and has lived in Portland for
20 years. She enjoys yoga, exploring the beauty of Oregon, walks in nature, gardening, live
music, collage and art journaling.
Samantha works with adults one-on-one and offers Telehealth and in-person options.

$150 per 55-minute counseling session for individuals
Sliding scale rates are available depending on income and need.
I am able to work with HealthShare/CareOregon using single case agreements.
